If you’re a content creator and have been struggling to consistently come up with content ideas, you’ve come to the right place.

No matter how long you’ve been creating content, this is a challenge every creator faces. It’s bound to happen when you’re posting multiple times a week on several different platforms.

This is the second and final week of the series in collaboration with Emma Cortes and her podcast, “Creative Edition.” where we’re giving you the scoop on our PROVEN methods for generating more content ideas.

The Social Scoop ⤵️
🧵 Threads officially launched on July 5

  • Here’s what I’ve personally learned so far:

    • When someone replies to your Thread, it shows up on the feeds of people who follow them. Start conversational Threads that will encourage people to respond to them in order to expand your Reach.

    • You can share text up to 500 characters, up to 10 photos in a carousel, and videos up to 5 minutes long.

    • You can also share external clickable links.

    • Now’s the time to connect with brands. Since Threads is still so new, many brands are experimenting here. Similar to Twitter, they’re responding to a lot of people’s replies.

    • In your feed, you’ll automatically see content from first and secondary connections. If you choose to only see content from those you follow, you can change that setting in your Instagram. Settings > Notifications > Threads and Replies > Choose First Threads “From people you follow”

    • If you delete your Threads account, you will also delete your Instagram. You can choose to deactivate your Threads account without effecting your IG though.

  • Voice notes and photo/video tagging are features that are supposedly coming.

  • Right now, an algorithm is ‘lightly’ ranking posts, while also looking to highlight recommendations from accounts you don’t follow.

  • Hashtags aren’t currently active, but that could change.

📱Threads reaches 100 million sign ups and record time and they share some possible upcoming features

  • Other features that are eventually coming (but will take some time) are:

    • Improved search

    • A separate following feed

    • They are considering an auto-archive option to keep your profile fresh

    • They are also considering adding DMs, but they aren’t as eager to add that because of the other messaging platforms Meta has like Messsenger, Whats App, and Instagram DMs.
