Last week, I asked my broadcast channel on Instagram what’s holding them back from making more money and there was no shortage of answers — a lot of them very similar to each other.
Creators were telling me that they're trying to do too many things at once, they're scared of the potential for rejection, or simply, they don't know where to start looking for brand deals and finding methods of monetization.
The hard part about being a creator who is monetizing — it's never consistent, which leaves a lot of room for disappointment, imposter syndrome, questioning your entire business' existence, you know.. that kinda stuff.
But, there are absolutely ways you can get past these hurdles.

💬 Instagram allows you to highlight comments in your IG Stories
When you swipe across on a comment, it will give you the option to share it to a Story where it will show up as a sticker.
Can be used to spark more discussion, highlight top comments, and showcase top fans.
🎁 Instagram is testing a new bonus this holiday season
It is invite-only and creators will be able to earn based on the number of reels plays and photo views.
Select creators will be invited to test this new bonus until the end of the year. Creators who receive an invitation can activate the holiday bonus to begin monetizing.
When you’re publishing your Instagram Story and mark it as a Partnership, you’ll receive a “partnership issues” screen that will show any issues that you can resolve to comply with Instagram’s partnership ad guidelines.
Examples: “Too many tags - You can only tag yourself or partner”, “can’t use GIF stickers “remove or choose another sticker”, or “can’t use link stickers – Content with link stickers can’t be used as ads.”
