How to pitch to brands as a creator you ask? Well, it’s definitely not just as simple as writing an email and hitting send. You need to make a great impression on the brand and start to build an actual relationship with them. But how can you get a brand’s attention and really wow them in one simple email?
This week, our guest Jordynn Nicholson, an influencer coach and content creator, is answering that question for us. Nicholson has been a creator for 7+ years and is an expert in landing paid brand deals.

🎥 Meta launches new Instagram Reels features
Expansion of the “Add Yours” Sticker: Now you can use the “Add Yours”
⭐️ Instagram is working on a the “Content Appreciation” feature
On Reels, under the send button, you would see a crown icon. When you click on that, you’d be able to “send a gift” to that creator.
💵 Instagram is still working on the profile feed ads feature
You can toggle “on” and “off” the “allow profile feed monetization” option. Instagram describes it: “Earn money when viewers see ads in between posts on your profile”
⚡️Instagram is working on public collections
These will be groups of Saved posts that you can share publicly. You create a “guide” and the publish the collection.
📍 Pinterest debuts a new app, Shuffles, for collage-making and moodboards
You’ll be able to put together collages using photos, image cutouts, and other animated effects. Images can be grabbed from Pinterest’s photo library or your camera/photos. You’ll be able to cut out an individual object using a tap. Then, they can be rotated, layered, or resized to create a collage.
The app is currently invite-only, but you’re able to join a waitlist on the Home Screen.
