✅ Instagram may be considering a paid subscription plan with a Blue Check
There were a few small references in Instagram’s code that shows they may be toying with rolling out a feature where people would have to pay for the blue check.
It’s essentially a rumor for right now, but what do you think about this?
🔄 TikTok is testing a “Refresh”, a new feature to refresh your FYP
This feature would allow you to erase your usage data and start surfacing videos based on how you use the app after you press the reset button.
If you ever feel like the videos you’re being served aren’t up your alley, this will be a great feature for you.
🐥 Twitter is now sharing ad revenue with creators
Starting 2/3, Twitter will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads.
To be eligible, your account must be a subscriber to Twitter Blue Verified.
📝 Instagram now allows you to “Add Topics” to content
Upon posting a Reel this past Friday, Instagram asked if I wanted to “Add a topic” to my video.
When I clicked on this option, I was able to choose from a ton of different categories. Within those categories, there were sub-categories that I could choose from. You can select up to 3 to “help match your reel with viewers.”
