Going Viral on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest: How to Do It and What It’s Like with KB Chesko
When KB Chesko, a professor and father, first got started he was creating low-production TikTok content — mostly in his car — clapping back at things people say on the internet and giving his opinion. He first saw success on TikTok, then was growing thousands of followers per day on Instagram, and was then able to bring in thousands of dollars every month from YouTube.
So, what is the secret to Chesko’s success? Why do his videos perform so well on every single platform resulting in him making more than he makes at his full-time job from YouTube ads alone? That’s what we’re discovering in this week’s episode of Soulcial Scoop.create and post content? What are the ways that you can build stronger connections to your audience? And how to you ensure you’re feeling good about yourself throughout the entire process?
This, my Biz BFFs, is Soulcial Scoop: Coached.

The Social Scoop ⤵️
🎥 YouTube creators will soon be able to monetize Shorts
Creators will receive revenue from ads displayed between Shorts clips
Comes into effect on Feb 1st
This new revenue sharing model will replace the YouTube Shorts Fund.
SocialMediaToday stated “YouTube’s payment model could be a more sustainable, and equitable process, with the cumulative funds from Shorts ads being allocated to a much larger pool, and YouTube then splitting 45% of that total amount among Shorts creators, based on respective views.”
You’ll apply for a cut of the Shorts ad venue if you have over 1,000 subscribers and have seen 10 million Shorts views in the preceding 90 days.
🛍 Instagram is getting rid of the Shop Tab
The navigation bar at the bottom of the app will have a shortcut for creating content, which will leave the Shop tab in the dust.
Shopping isn’t taking off on Instagram
Instagram notes that it will still support its shopping tools are this update — “You’ll still be able to set up and run your shop on Instagram as we continue to invest in shopping experiences that provide the most value for people and businesses across feed, stories, reels, ads and more.”
