How I Built a Membership Program with Over 100 Creators

I often talk about the importance of diversifying your creator business to create consistent income and prevent burnout. One of the ways I’ve done this is by building a membership program that has grown to over 100 creators.

Having the Soulcial Suite has allowed me to share my knowledge about the creator industry with others, build a community that helps and supports each other, and gives me more control over my income each month.

I am so passionate about coaching creators and building a community so that no one has to navigate this crazy industry alone.

Today, I’m giving you the scoop on everything I did to create this incredible Soulcial Suite community.

👥 Instagram is rolling out the option to share stories with multiple group lists

  • Along with “Close Friends,” you’ll be able to share with other groups you’ve created

  • You can add up to 250 people to an IG group

💰 TikTok is testing an ad-free subscription tier outside the US

  • It would get rid of ads served by TikTok, not branded campaigns posted by creators

  • Currently, there are no plans to bring it to the US

📱 New Instagram features announced at ‘Instagram University’ event

  • Birthday effects on profiles: you can choose who to have your birthday shared with (no one, close friends, followers that follow back)

  • Notes features: Adding audio clips and selfie videos

  • ‘Crews’ for private story sharing

  • Trivia game within live-streams

💵 Meta is exploring the possibility for Europeans to pay for an ad-free version of Instagram/Facebook by opting out of ad targeting

  • It would be $14 a month for one platform or $17 for both

  • They’re considering this because of the EU’s data privacy regulations, which are limiting the ability for Meta to personalize ads based on user activity.

💳 X is planning on launching new pricing tiers for X Premium

  • It would be broken down into X Premium Basic (full ads in their feed), X Premium Standard (current version of Premium, half ad exposure), and X Premium Plus (no ads in-stream).

  • Along with Meta and TikTok, they’re looking into ad-free subscriptions to align with EU rules for data collection.
