🧐 A study shows that longer clips perform better on TikTok
Videos that were 60-90 seconds long used to be the sweet spot, but now videos longer than one minute long are shown to get 63.8% more watch time.
🏷️ Threads has added a new update to add topics of interest on your profile
This will allow users to highlight topics that you’re interested in and are likely to be posting about. The tags will be displayed below your bio.
When a profile visitor taps on those topic tags it will show conversations about that topic.
⚡️ Instagram is testing a feature to automatically post Reels to Stories
It gives the option to ‘add once’ or ‘always add.’
🔒 TikTok is rolling out a Security Checkup tool to keep your account protected
You can find it by going to Settings and privacy > Security.
They are trying to make it easier to do things like linking a phone number and email address to make sure you have a backup login method, turn on two-factor authentication, set up a passkey and enable biometric login options like facial recognition.
It will also show which devices are logged into your account.
