💵 TikTok Expands “Creativity Program”
It launched in February with select creators, but it started for everyone else May 3 (Requirements are at least 10k followers, 100k authentic video views in last 30 days, be over 18, be posting videos that are at least one minute)
It’s unclear how much money creators can expect to make, but it aims to address issues that the Creator Fund had where creators made less money as TikTok became more successful.
I just got access over the weekend – Many creators complained that their views are lower than usual since enrolling, but personally, my views have been higher than usual.
📊 Instagram continues working on the ability to add polls to the comments section
It might only be an option for Reels
The polls can’t be edited or deleted after they’re posted
👥 Instagram is working on the ability to create public group stories
You'll be able to type in friend's names and select them to be able to add to the group Story.
It will be different than the Group Stories they tested in 2019 because it will be publicly visible to everyone and only certain people that are selected can add new content
📲 Instagram is working on the ability to create posts visible to just Close Friends
📝Instagram is working on the ability to share a note with all followers
Previously, you were only able to share them with your mutual follows.
