💬 Instagram announces new DM features

  • You can now edit your DM for up to 15 minutes after sending.

  • You’ll be able to pin up to three chats to the top of your DM inbox, making important conversations more accessible.

  • You can turn read receipts off for all DM chats or just specific threads.

  • They say that they’ll continue to reward high-quality, original content that’s over one minute long.

  • It’s focused on 4 key areas: originality, play duration, search value, and audience engagement.

🧑‍⚖️ TikTok urges users in the US to contact Congress to oppose the TikTok ban

  • A pop-up alert appeared in-stream sharing how users can contact their House representative to get people to support them in stopping a potential ban.

🎶 Instagram Adds Option to Replace Licensed Music to Boost Reels in Ads

  • When users click on the Reels that features licensed music and choose “Boost Reel”, a screen pops up that allows you to choose new music that is not licensed.
